This is a partial-mash recipe. All grain brewers should replace the 6.5# of extract with an additional 9# of 2 Row

Mash Hot @ about 154 F

5 Gallons

Grain Bill:

2# English 2 Row

1/4# Chocolate Malt

1/2# Cara Vienna

1/4# Crystal 120

1/4# Roasted Barley

1# Oats

6.5# Pilsen Malt Extract

Hop Bill:

1 oz Fuggles @ 60'

1 oz Fuggles @ 30'

2 oz Freshly Diced Ginger Root @ 10'

(add 2 more oz of Ginger @ 10' if you want a very Ginger forward stout)

Yeast:

English Ale (WLP002)
